BRIDGEFIELD - PRESS COMMENT...

...the bouquets, the plaudits, the soubriquets...yeah right. Anyway, here's what some lovely people have said about us...

Each song shows the depth of their feelings and oozes potential...its so scrummy you just want the experience to go on and on. What tops it off are the fine vocals of lead singer, Tola Lamont. She has the female cool, feminine charm and sassy-chick attitude needed to front a band this intense.

'Drop your jaw as their guitarist slams on his gangly, feedback driven, super-duper overdrive pedal and gives us what we are looking for in the "Slaying Ground".The fingers fly across the fret board in some of the most flamboyant rock solos I've heard in ages Yipppeee.... try and catch this band when they play near you'

- Tim Bearder BBC Radio Oxford.

'Not only do they have the look, and the sound, but an unrivalled energy to match.....a refreshing new band

- Stuart Robb Jam Central Records.

I feel like I have been listening to this album for years, I actually only got it yesterday.

Normally I would'nt waste my time offering a review as I generally can't be bothered. But after giving the CD a few turns I found myself spontaniously singing along to the very catchy chorus as if I knew them from old.

I really got into the title track "Give you more" and "Better Without You" , being a fan of rock music they were the most obvious tunes to tickle my fancy. The melodies are spot on and go straight to that place in your brain that makes your toes tap and you instantly know the words.

The tune that really suprised me was "Loving you", I have'nt been able to get it out of my head, it's rediculously catchy and sweet and lovely and has bags of sing along appeal. The melody in the chorus just blew me away.
