• Our good mates and classic rock covers band, Burn, are always worth catching if you're looking for a good night out. Having toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK for over a decade, you'll get a pro-show never to forget. Find out what they're up to at BURN.
• Go and experience Merseyside singer-songwriter Ben Blance who sounds like wine being poured onto snow...apparently.
• The retro-style and stunning vocal harmonies of Three Blind Mice are well-worth further investigation at 3BM.
• Tola's chums, the Talent, are touring the country like they're gonna make it illegal soon. Check them out at The Talent.
• Mike Ellis....is one of the best drummers I've ever had the pleasure of sharing a stage with. If you need a session/dep drummer, look no further. He's a brahmingly good chap and a right good laff as well as being a member of several unsigned bands in his own right, Meggido and Avoidance Of Doubt being the most notable.

• Wycombe's (that's in Buckinghamshire, UK) premier live music purveyors: Red Lion Rocks!!!. Go here, go there...I feel a song coming on.
• A brand new venue in Thame (Oxfordshire, UK) that deserves a big plug here is The Social...website myspace.com/thesocialthame. It will be a prime haunt for bands doing gigs for Crash Records (see Record Labels/Promoters). We'll be there, so make sure you are.

• CDBaby, a US-based company doing wonders for unsigned band distribution over the internet via CD and mp3. If you're an unsigned band, you need to be a CDBaby unsigned band...JFDI
• Solaris Records. UK-based distributor doing the same thing as CDBaby. On a much smaller scale at the moment, but it's growing like crazy...get in there. Paul, the owner is a diamond geezer and deserves to be successful with Solarise.

SOUND ENGINEERS/PA SERVICES

• Sound-Services PA Hire, Curt Gilmore's Sound Services company have been involved with Bridgefield gigs in and around London...bloody good service, bloody good sound and no fuss, plus he's a thoroughly good chap to work with.

RECORD LABELS/PROMOTORS

• Crash Records are an energetic young record label/promoter, the staff of which are busting their nads to nurture fresh talent here in the UK, and particularly in the Home counties of England. Bridgefield and Crash are currently "talking" to each other...Mmmmmm...that sounds interesting...well you better keep an eye on our News page, and also on Crashes home site crash-records.co.uk and they're also on Myspace at Crash Profile publicising their hugely successful profile gigs.
• Click the Phoenix to find out about the brilliant Phoenixbury charity music festival conceived and run by Joss Underwood and the good people at the Phoenix Inn in Steeple Claydon, Bucks. Each year a charity is picked (this year it's the Pace Centre, Aylesbury, which offers specialist education for children with motor impairments) and Joss stages three days of brilliant local Unsigned acts. Entry is free but I expect there'll be plenty of opportunities to make make donations. The event takes place over the afternoons and evenings of 30th June, 1st and 2nd July. I'm going to leave this link here for next year as we really, really, really want to get involved in 2007...did you get that Joss?
• Aylesbury Showcase Bridgefield is chuffed to announced its association with the Aylesbury Showcase which is bringing a gamut of local bands to the stages of various venues in and around Aylesbury. These events are the brainchild of Stuart Robb at Jam Central Records (see below) and Mix96 and The Bucks Herald......Champion.
• Jam Central Records ....and this is the main web-site for Jam Central, an organisation dedicated to staging live music in the Aylesbury area....nice one Stu!!!
• Rupe's Gig Guide ....Rupe is a local lad doing excellent work promoting bands and gigs in and around the South Bucks area. Without guys like this, nothing would get out to those who need to know...Cheers Rupe!!

HOLIDAY IDEAS/VILLAS

• ....yes I know this is nothing whatsoever to do with music, but every now and then it's good to do someone a favour, so this is a blatant plug for Bernie Leber who I met last year in Cyprus whilst renting one of his villas and who is a thoroughly smashing bloke. He is building up a portfolio of beautiful villas in the North of the island and they can be rented/bought through the following links: Villa Cyprus and Esentetepe Golf. Bern is keen for you to see the pictured property which can also be booked through ebay (I've swum in this swimming pool and dined on the veranda. It was great!!!)...click the pic.
